What We Did
Take everything you think you know about the laundry room and forget about it, because this isn’t your Mum’s laundry room. In addition to working on several other areas of their new home, our client also had the Canaan team help bring the laundry room to life.
During our initial consultation, we determined that the family required a space that was extremely functional and storage-centric but would also remain consistent with the home’s traditional style. After discussing it with the client and receiving a design approval, our team got to work on making their vision a reality!
Upon completion of the installation, the new laundry room is an absolute head turner! Packed with all the bells and whistles, the room features painted MDF doors with a shaker bevel design and lustrous quartz countertop. The real showstopper, however, is the dedicated drying unit. The custom design features a drop-down drying rack that allows you to simply hang clothes to dry and can be stored upright to keep it out of the way when not in use.
Lastly, a children’s cubby corner was installed to easily store and access everyday items. While its full floor-to-ceiling design takes full advantages of the available storage space. And there you have it, the laundry room of your dreams!
